The Thin Man Among the "Silents & Screwballs" at the Paris Theater

If you're in New York City anytime during the month of March, don't miss an opportunity to check out the Paris Theater, adjacent to The Plaza Hotel in Midtown Manhattan. Since Netflix sealed the deal for a long-term lease on the venue in 2019, its repertory calendar has become a stellar opportunity to watch classic films on the big screen. The latest on the slate: Beginning March 5, the Paris launches a "Silents & Screwballs" series, with films that include The Thin Man (starring Myrna Loy and William Powell, above), Bringing Up Baby, My Favorite Wife, Adam's Rib, and more. A month later, a series of films directed by Ernst Lubitsch and Preston Sturges kicks off on April 11 — check out the calendar at paristheaternyc.com ...
